Objection: "The Linguistic Trick"
Our Objection:
"The claim that logic proves 'Absolute Truth' assumes that our language is an objective map of the universe. But what if logic is just a human software program? In this view, the 'self-refutation' trap (where saying 'there is no truth' is called a contradiction) isn't a proof of anything—it's just a quirk of our syntax. We haven't discovered a cosmic law; we've just reached the limits of our own dictionary."
1. The Skyscraper Test
We often confuse the Word for the Reality. We use the word "Truth" to describe what is, and "False" to describe what is not.
Status: THE IMPACT IS REAL
If we jump off a skyscraper, we will die on impact. This was true before skyscrapers existed, and it remains true whether we have a word for "gravity" or not.
Grammar errors don't break bones; reality does. Truth is not waiting for our permission or our vocabulary to be absolute. It is simply the map that matches the territory.
2. The Survival Receipt
If Absolute Truth were undiscoverable, our species would have perished long ago. To survive, we must be able to discover what is really there.
Identification = Truth
We must be able to identify Real Threats and Real Sustenance. If we could not discover the "Absolute Truth" that fire burns or water hydrates, we would not survive a single week.
The fact that we are alive to argue is the receipt proving that we can discover truth.
3. The Starting Point
We only need to discover One Truth to prove that Absolute Truth is discoverable.
The Bedrock Fact
We know that we exist. This is not a "word game"; it is an absolute fact. If we know even one truth—the fact of our own being—then our doubt that "Truth is unknowable" has officially been audited and found false.
4. Our Self-Refuting Doubt
We must observe the logical ground upon which our own objection is standing. When we say, "This is just a word game," we are asserting a **True Description of Reality.**
Status: LOGICAL CHECKMATE
If we are right, then we have discovered an **Absolute Truth** about how language and logic work. If we are wrong, we are just making noise. Either way, Absolute Truth remains the victor—we have simply used the truth to try and kill the truth.
