Objection: "The Domino Paradox"

The Claim:
"If Causality is absolute, then Free Will is an illusion. We are just atoms obeying physics—biological machines. One cannot indict a domino for falling over. No Free Will = No Moral Debt."

1. The Rationality Suicide

If our thoughts are merely involuntary chemical reactions, then the thought "Determinism is true" is also just a chemical reaction.

Status: SELF-DESTRUCT MECHANISM To argue for any truth, we must assume the Agency to weigh evidence and choose the better path. If we are just bio-robots, we aren't "reasoning"; our brains are just fizzing. Rationality requires the freedom to follow logic. If we have no choice, we have no truth—including the truth of Determinism.

2. The Investigator's Agency

This joint investigation is living proof of agency. We are not just falling dominoes; we are the observers tracking the trajectory of the fall.

The Audit Test If we have no agency, then this website is just light hitting an eyeball—there is no learning or weighing of evidence occurring. However, the very act of auditing these arguments proves that the "Observer" stands outside the purely mechanical chain of physics. We possess the Agency to acknowledge the Moral Debt.

3. The Broken Machine

Even in a purely mechanical worldview, an error in the system is still an error that requires a settlement.

Status: CRITICAL LOGIC FAILURE Whether a "domino" chose to fall or not, the impact is a real event with a real result. In Step 2, we established that Moral Ruptures are Objective Facts. To claim the "machine" isn't responsible doesn't delete the rupture—it just leaves the system in a state of permanent imbalance. Logic requires that the imbalance be balanced.
