1. The Flawed Vessel Argument: Even if the accusation were true (it is likely political slander), it holds no theological weight. King David was an adulterer and a murderer, yet he wrote the Psalms. Paul was a murderer, yet he wrote the Epistles. God uses flawed men to deliver His perfect Word. The validity of the Book depends on the Author (God), not the man who authorized the translation.

2. The Source of the Slander: The rumors originated 25 years after King James died, started by Anthony Weldon—a man James had fired from the court for corruption. It was 17th-century "fake news" designed to discredit the monarchy, not historical fact.

3. The Family Man: King James was happily married to Anne of Denmark. They had 9 children together. He famously wrote books advising his sons to "flee fornication" and stay true to their wives.

1. The Grade Level Test: According to the Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level formula, the KJB is written at a 5th Grade Level. It uses short, punchy Anglo-Saxon words (God, Lord, Light, Life). In contrast, the NIV often scores at an 8th-10th grade level because of complex sentence structures.

2. The "Archaic" Words: There are only about 200 words in the KJB that are truly "archaic" (like "wist" or "bewray"). The KJB usually defines them in the context of the very next verse. It is worth learning a few new words to have the pure Word of God.

1. The Timing (Verse 3): Verse 3 says these were the "days of unleavened bread." The Jewish Passover happens BEFORE the days of unleavened bread. Therefore, Passover had already passed.

2. The Subject (Herod): Herod was a pagan Roman. He wasn't waiting for the Jewish Passover; he was waiting for his own pagan festival of Ishtar (Easter) to end so he could kill Peter.

3. The Accuracy: The KJB translators knew exactly what they were doing. They used "Passover" 28 other times in the New Testament. They used "Easter" here because it refers to the specific pagan holiday Herod was observing. The KJB is the only Bible to get the history right.

1. The Standard of Weight: You can measure weight in pounds, kilos, or stones. But there must be One Standard Weight kept in the vault against which all others are measured. The KJB is that Standard.

2. The End-Times Tongue: God chose Hebrew for the Dispensation of the Law. He chose Greek for the Dispensation of Grace. He has chosen English for the Dispensation of the End Times. English is the global language of Aviation, The Internet, Science, and Commerce. It is the only language capable of reaching "every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation" (Rev 5:9).

3. The Seed, Not the Limit: The KJB has been translated INTO hundreds of languages. If those translations align with the Standard, they are the Word of God. The KJB is not the limit; it is the Source Code.

1. The Reality of War: If God is real, then the Devil is real. If the Devil is real, what is his #1 target? It is not your money or your health; it is The Word of God. "Yea, hath God said?" (Gen 3:1).

2. Unintentional Sabotage: We do not claim that modern scholars are devil worshippers. We claim they are victims of a deception. If a doctor uses a poisoned scalpel, he kills the patient, even if his intentions were good. Modern scholars use a poisoned text (Alexandrian).

3. The Fruit of Confusion: Satan is the author of confusion. Today we have 400+ English versions that all say different things. This causes the world to ask: "Does anyone actually know what God said?" Mission Accomplished.
